I only have a few very simple requests:
Walks, cuddles, treats, playtime and naptime.
I am an affectionate 7-month-old Samoyed from the Netherlands.
Though a bit quirky at times, my sweet nature and loveable personality make me a true delight to be around.
Luckily I have a crazy, cozy and loving home filled with fun and playful hooman.
Love living in the moment, and enjoying the simple joys of life: a stroll in the park, my favorite toy, or a sunny nap.
My main goal in this life is to be a loyal and fun-loving companion, sticking by your side no matter what.
In general, I am known for my friendly, gentle, and affectionate personality.
I’m highly intelligent and eager to please, making me excellent family companions. I have a thick, fluffy white coat that requires regular grooming, to maintain its pristine appearance. I’m pretty energetic and love to play, making me well-suited for active households. I’m also known for my loyalty, devotion, and protective nature, often serving as excellent watchdogs.
I am known for my distinctive “Samoyed smile,” a natural expression that gives me my happy and cheerful appearance.
Where I come from, it was cold. Very cold.
So I was being used to keep babies warm and to move stuff from one place to another, using sleds.
Because it was so cold, I needed much hair to keep warm. And my drool could also not freeze, wich is why I have my signature Samoyed Smile.
My smile is nothing more then an adaptation to harsh, cold weather.
But people like me for it. And I like that people like that.
I like people in general. They so fun!!
I have been charming folks since way back in 1000 BCE. Maybe even earlier, but without melting hooman hearts..
And guess what?
This fluffy bundle of joy hasn’t really changed a lick in looks or personality! Named after the playful Samoyede tribe who roamed the chilly tundras of northern Russia and Siberia, these pups were the ultimate multitaskers—herding reindeer, pulling sleds, and even tagging along for the occasional bear hunt!
Imagine snuggling with a friendly canine family member in a cozy little hut! European explorers stumbled upon these delightful dogs in the mid-1800s and couldn’t resist bringing some back to England, where they quickly became the darlings of the aristocracy. In 1889, adventurous zoologist Ernest Kilburn-Scott decided to live with the Samoyede tribe, then brought a playful little pup back home, starting a fluffy revolution! The first breed standard was whisked up in England in 1909, and the Samoyed’s global popularity took off faster than you can say “woof”!
